PennyCircle

Good to know

Questions worth asking.

A straightforward look at what PennyCircle does and what it doesn't.

Is PennyCircle free?

PennyCircle is currently free to use. That is not a promise that pricing will never change.

Does it connect to my bank or move money?

No. You enter and update your own information. PennyCircle does not connect to a bank, send payments or transfer money.

Can I invite my family?

Yes. After setting up a household, create an invitation link in the Household page and send it yourself. It works for the email address you entered and expires after seven days. PennyCircle does not send the invite email for you.

Will everyone see all my accounts?

No. You can share an account, share only its balance, or keep it visible only to yourself. Shared budgets and debts are available to household members according to their role.

Does the Wealth Plan tell us what to do?

No. It compares four payoff orders without recommending one. Forecasts are estimates based on the numbers entered, not financial advice.

Can it read a scanned bill or spreadsheet?

The Documents page supports images, PDFs and Excel files. You can review suggested information before accepting a draft. Scanned PDFs read the first three pages; spreadsheets read up to ten sheets.

Do investments update automatically?

No. You enter investment values yourself. PennyCircle does not show live prices, offer trading, or predict returns.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. PennyCircle works in a mobile browser and can be added to a phone's home screen after the site is published.
